Those are just a few words to describe the islands of Oceania. Whether your plans include hiking, diving, dining, lounging, or just taking in the scenery, there really are few places on earth that are simply as postcard perfect as the islands of Oceania.

 

Alongside the physical beauty of these islands, there's also a rich, deep cultural side to them too. Those who take the time to scratch beneath the surface are likely to discover the nuances of life in the Pacific that some travelers overlook.  

 

Because I live in the Polynesian triangle, an area of land that covers Hawaii to the north, Rapa Nui (Easter Island) to the southeast, and New Zealand/Aotearoa to the southwest, I have focused primarily on those islands.
